Children and families are readily impacted when there is anticipated and unexpected movement to new care and learning settings. This can be a time of excitement and knowledge building, but also a time of loss and anxiety due to changes in place, space, people, and routine. This session will explore these transition points and related practices that aim to support children and families through their transition experiences, to empower care and education professionals in their work with children and families.
