Coding is a hot career in 2019 and beyond, and has been much talked about in educational circles. If you feel that the technology explosion has mostly passed you by, but you still harbor some curiosity, this is the workshop for you! In 90 minutes, you will go hands-on to code your first website with real code (no drag-and-drop here!). We will also discuss what coding is and why there are so many different languages to choose from. By the end of the session, you will have learned the start of the HTML, CSS and JavaScript languages, and you will have a list resources if you want to keep learning. Tamasin usually teaches kids to code, and she will bring that clear and simple approach to make this session friendly to absolute beginners of any age.
